This book contains revered Jewish folk and holiday songs, simplified so they are easily playable by elementary piano students in their first or second year of lessons. Respectful arrangements retain the traditional character of the music. Most of the pieces may be used for more than one holiday or occasion. Selections are mainly in Hebrew in either the Ashkenazic or Sephardic dialect, with a few songs in Yiddish and English.
