Description: Starry Night by Carol Matz is a delightful piece in the key of D minor which sets the stage for this lyrical solo. The melody is written using mostly whole notes in the left hand and is accompanied by broken chords in the right hand. The quick tempo and syncopated pedal allow the melody to flow expressively.
