These 20 short studies, composed in Paris in 1912, are admirably written with a deft, sure style. They are pleasant, charming, brilliant, and among Moszkowski's best pieces, but require a finde technique to be fully effective. Moszkowski alsways achieves his technical goals in an aesthetically pleasing way.
