Fundamentals of Piano Theory by Keith Snell and Martha Ashleigh, is a graded piano theory series that goes far beyond traditional method book materials. In addition to theory, the books include music history, sight reading, and ear training. Review tests are presented using examples taken from the literature students are performing. Analysis and practice drills follow theory requirements commonly required for state examinations. The levels correlate with the levels of the Piano Repertoire books in the Neil Kjos Piano Library.
